Getting the Most Out of this Course

As this is a course about getting your written responses right - why not look out for emails in the past that you found particularly challenging to respond to. As to WHY they were challenging could be a variety of reasons.

1. The email had multiple issues to address
2. The email was not pleasant to read due to the strong language or was particularly harsh
3. The writer of the email is someone you had a past negative experience with

As you go through the course, do look over your own responses to these difficult emails and evaluate

• What did you miss in the past on your read of the email
• What did you miss on responding to the email
• What would you do differently now that you are learning additional skills to complement all you already know about email writing

How else can you get the most out of this course?

• Do Watch All the Videos
• Be sure to attempt all the exercises assigned
• Capture Notes - using A4 paper that you can file into a Ring Binder File
• Print the PDF Files to add thoughts to questions posed or to attempt exercises for that particular module
