But, I want to share with you that I failed most of my school education and for many years I was never successful in business.
I'd always dreamed of having a business that would enable me to travel the world, make me feel free and make me wealthy by doing what I love and also, make my mum and dad proud.
The problem was, when I first started being an entrepreneur at the age of twenty I had no idea how to become successful in business.
Over the span of ten years I lost a lot of money trying to make my first business attempts succeed and I even went bankrupt.
I'd tried everything to figure it all out.
I became very lost and depressed wondering what I was going to do next.
Then seven years ago when amidst a really hard time I had to call my father for help. It was the hardest phone call I ever had to make because he'd already paid for all my university education and he was the one person above everyone else that I wanted to make feel proud of me.
I had no other choice, I had to call him.
While the phone rang I stood in the middle of my tiny one room apartment with my phone to my ear as I looked up through the little sky light window and into a grey cloudy day.
Then he answered, we got the small talk out of the way and then I said. "Dad? I'm in a really difficult situation, can you lend me some money?"
The call went silent.
"Sorry sunshine, It's now time for you to find your own way." he replied.
We then ended the call and that was it.
I then had absolutely no one I felt I could turn to, no one.
I could feel intense anxiety and across my chest as I found it hard to breathe.
'I had to do something but what?' I was thinking.
I then used the last available money I had on my credit cards to invest in courses to go through self transformation, learn marketing, sales, leadership and entrepreneurship and to gain every skill I needed to enable me to succeed as an entrepreneur.
In the end I learned that I wasn’t succeeding because I simply didn't have the right mindset.
I learned that I had subconscious fears of not being liked or of being judged, fears of not fitting in, fears of being rejected and fears of failing and even fears of succeeding.
I also learned that it was these fears that caused me to procrastinate, to not be focused, to keep changing which idea I focused on, to play small and to keep my self stuck in the same kind of circumstances.
The skill I learned that has made me the most wealth was the skill of 'transforming' my mindset to become courageous enough to take what ever action was needed for me to actually succeed.
This mindset has enabled me to free my self of being dominated by these fears and instead I became extremely courageous and absolutely unstoppable.
I began taking bold actions such as knocking on peoples doors to make sales, cold calling people to make offers getting on stage to speak to audiences, making bold proposals for things I'd no idea how I'd even deliver as well as borrowing large sums of money to invest in new business ventures.
I soon began earning really good money by doing what I love and in a way that enabled me to start travelling around the world.
Five years ago I began being approached by members of my family, friends and other entrepreneurs who also wanted to succeed in business as I was and now I can proudly say I've coached over a thousand entrepreneurs.
