Over the last 40 years as a fulltime pastor and a marriage counselor I have often been asked by married couples and planning-to-get married couples two common questions which are, "Am I suitable for my partner?" and "How do I know whether my partner is suitable for me?" As a result of not knowing each other's personality conflicts inevitably arise in marriage. Hence, knowing each other personality will help partners to avoid and manage future conflicts in marriage.

As a result of encountering common questions and arbitrating conflicts of married couples and doing a lot of one-to-one pre-marriage preparations I have designed and created this and the subsequent course to help married couples to know each other and help them resolve conflicts in their marriages.

Stephen Chua Hong Hai

Rev. Stephen Chua Hong Hai is an ordained church minister since April 1993. He has been serving

fulltime as a church pastor for the last 42 years of his life. His involvement in preparing couples for marriage dates back to 1986. He is also a licensed solemniser and a Deputy Registrar of Marriages

with the Registry of Marriages of Singapore. Rev Chua is eminently qualified to prepare couples

for marriage and help them to resolve conflicts in their marriages and build fulfilling marriages.

He has solemnised and conducted many weddings in his many years as a church pastor.


He holds earned degrees in Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Communications, Master of Business Administration, Master of Commercial Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in MBA. He is happily married with an adult son who is a qualified architect.
