As a language instructor and a student in my younger days for many years, I know these struggles only too well. In fact, I struggled with both English and Chinese in elementary school and often had to stay back after school for remedial lessons. This affected my self-confidence badly and I had to work extra hard just to keep up. However, I later found my interest in learning languages and majored in Linguistics with a minor in German and French at University. Guten Tag! Allow me to introduce (and brag a little) about myself…
My name’s Yuan Yuan (YY in short). I’m a Berlitz-certified German instructor with 3+ years of experience teaching at the Singapore Franchise of Berlitz School of Languages and delivering German GSCE lessons to international school students from Hong Kong & Singapore. So this isn’t my first rodeo when it comes to offering online German language courses for beginners.
Though I get showered with much high-praise for my *ahem* astounding qualifications, I’ve always considered my warm, friendly, empathetic, student-centered approach as the founding pillar of my success, and most importantly, my students’ success.
