In 2018, I attended a programme by the Cool Japan TV group and learnt about generating money by having a YouTube Channel. That was when I created my 1st YouTube channel. My YouTube coach taught me one very important lesson about YouTube: "All these videos are digital assets that generate income in the future even if you are sleeping!"
YES! That was what he said, and he earned USD$1.5million within 8 months after starting his own YouTube channel!
Initially I didn't have confidence to have viewers for my YouTube, because I am totally new to the YouTube world. I didn't know if anyone will be even bothered to watch the videos I created and I didn't know if anyone will be able to find my videos in the sea of videos on YouTube.
But I was surprised that my viewers found my videos and were very engaged in the videos that I created! 2 of my videos were even shared to Singapore Online Forum (Hardware zone) which led to more than 30K views of my video. My viewers even thanked me after watching my videos. That was when I felt that the future of the media and influence is YouTube!
Initially I only produced 1 video per month for my channel, but even with that few videos, I am already getting sponsorships and earning money through affiliating products and courses! The money was already enough for me to quit my job! (I only spend 1 day to produce a video which earns me at least SGD$1000). Slowly, I increased to 1 video per week, this opens the channel where more streams of income were generated for me!
